API Overview

VideoNest provides a comprehensive REST API for all video operations: upload, metadata management, publishing, feed generation, and analytics. Authenticate with API keys, receive webhook notifications on events, and integrate VideoNest into existing systems without manual admin panel work.

Core Endpoints

POST /videos/upload: Upload video files or reference external URLs
GET /videos: List videos with filtering, sorting, and pagination
PATCH /videos/:id: Update metadata (title, description, tags, custom fields)
POST /videos/:id/publish: Trigger publishing to platforms and feeds
GET /feeds: List MRSS feeds with status and subscriber counts

Webhook Events

Subscribe to events: video.uploaded, transcode.completed, video.published, feed.updated, analytics.daily. Receive POST requests to your endpoint with JSON payloads. No polling required.
